The venue has an enviable location on the riverside next to The London Eye and opposite The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The large multi-purpose interconnecting space will include two suites for groups of up to 900. The venue will boast stunning views across The Thames towards Westminster. Best known for his restaurants, chef Nobu Matsuhisa is due to open a hotel in London this year. The five-storey, 156-room hotel will be located on Willow Street in Hackney. The property features angular, fair-faced concrete balconies and its façade is made of printed, layered glass that is highly reflective, to allow light in while ensuring privacy. Guests will also have access to a landscaped garden and a triple-height restaurant will form the hotel’s hub. A Grade I listed former Midland Bank headquarters in the City has bene turned into the newest venue from the Soho House Group, opening this Spring. Expect 252 suites, restaurants and a rooftop bar with landscaped terraces, health spa and gym. The hotel also includes event spaces and a private members’ club with a rooftop swimming pool and an underground bar.
