8 Northumberland Avenue
As a former grand hotel, 8 Northumberland Avenue has its roots firmly in Victorian London history. Today it has been completely restored to its former glory to become one of the finest venue spaces in London. Grand staterooms combined with cutting-edge technology make up 1,000 sqm of perfect venue space for 100 to 1,000 guests to be entertained in style.
The Ballroom : After 70 years, the extensively refurbished Ballroom is once again available as a unique location that will make your event one to remember. Described by English Heritage as ‘the grandest example of a Victorian ballroom in existence’, the Ballroom is the centrepiece of London’s most central Grade II-listed venue. Following a multi-million pound refurbishment, the venue features immaculately restored period details including beautiful 10.3 metre-high ceilings adorned with original chandeliers and set against exquisite stained glass windows. Coupled with this is access to event changing technology; the Ballroom hosts 3D holographics as well as a fully interactive intelligent lighting system.
The Old Billiard Room & Annex: 8 Northumberland Avenue’s Old Billiard Room and Annex provides a wonderfully versatile space – two adjoining rooms that can be used together or separately. This more contemporary space combines the original traditional architecture with white walls, mirrors and the pioneering state-of-the-art interactive lighting technology to bring the historic interiors at London’s most central venue to life. The Old Billiard Room and Annex is a flexible venue space making it perfect for awards dinners, conferences and private parties alike.
