Christmas may be long gone, but the winter wonderland theme is still in full swing in venues all across London. If you thought drinks on the terrace were reserved for the summer months, think again! Here are some of our favourites luxury London terraces to hire in this winter.
An oasis with spectacular skyline views. High above Oxford Street, the Forest on the Roof restaurant and bar is on the rooftop of one of Britain’s most famous department stores, Selfridges. This first-come-first-serve venue is committed to serving the best possible local produce, as well as the finest international ingredients when certain types of produce are out of season or unavailable in the UK. From refreshing breakfasts with Avocado on toast, to tasty Tuna crudo lunches and delicious Roast Devon Chicken dinners, this terrace bar is guaranteed to impress.
High above trendy, funky Shoreditch, the Winter Rooftop takes on a Nordic Viking theme this season, with driftwood sculptures, drinking horns and fire pits. The venue has an excellent daily feasting menu with dishes ranging from pork belly hotpot to salmon rosti, and an equally intriguing drinks menu with specialities such as Bjork’s Wild Brambled Wine and Skye’s Hot Buttered Rum.
Until February 28th, Coq d’Argent will feature its special Lodge d’Argent winter pop up, a magical winter wonderland scene. This year, the theme is Little Red Riding Hood, with fur cushions and blankets, wooden walls, and mini Little Red Riding Hood scenes. Expect delicious rustic French cuisine represented by dishes such as Raclette gratin, Alpine dry-cured ham and Chestnut macaroons. You’ll find a great selection of winter warmer cocktails, too!
