Best Unusual Venues

Are you looking for a unique venue where you can make the best impression for your next special event? Then check out these five unusual event venues in London!

Some of our favourite unusual venues in London

1 – Westminster Boating Base

With fine views of the Thames and Battersea Power Station, Westminster Boating Base near Pimlico is a flexible events space with a spacious covered balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum natural light. Hire it for up to 350 guests for standing receptions or 150 for seated dinners.

2 – The Magic Circle

With a spiral staircase that looks like it’s floating on air, the quirky Magic Circle near Euston is clearly one of the least conventional event venues in London. In fact, the four thematic rooms here can be hired not only for conferences and other business events, but also for magic shows. So, if you’re looking for something really out of the ordinary, give your guests a spellbinding experience as they watch talented magicians perform amazing tricks before your conference or meeting begins.

3 – Tobacco Dock

Original an imported tobacco centre in the 19th century, Tobacco Dock near Wapping is now one of east London’s most sought-after events spaces. This Grade I-Listed brick and timber warehouse offers 16,000 square metres of space for spectacular events such as product launches, exhibitions and buffets.

4 – The Vaults at the Old Billingsgate

Book a party, conference or another special event at this secret party den in the City. A short walk from London Bridge, the Vaults at Old Billingsgate is a stunning underground space that can be hired independently or with the building’s other luxury spaces: The Gallery and the Grand Hall. With its trendy vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork, The Vaults has the perfect backdrop for a showstopping event, and can accommodate up to 600 seated guests, 900 standing, or 220 for conferences. It’s also one of our most popular London event venues for private and shared Christmas parties.

5 – The Big Chill Club

For a laid-back vibe in vibrant Shoreditch, try the Big Chill House, which has an excellent Games Room and a Roof Terrace. The four stylish rooms and bars can accommodate up to 550 guests and are well suited to corporate receptions, parties, team-building events and other functions.
