Venue of the Week: LSO St Luke’s

Nestled just north of the City in East London’s trendy Old Street, LSO St Luke’s is a fully-converted and restored 18th century Grade I listed Hawksmoor church that will make a suitably grand backdrop to your celebration or event.

Dating back to 1727, a £17 million restoration completed in 2002 took St Luke’s from an abandoned ruin to its current incarnation as a striking, stylish and flexible event space in a prime location.

It’s now home to the London Symphony Orchestra’s education and community programme, LSO Discovery, and is fully kitted out with integrated sound and lighting systems. Why not make a real statement and light up the original Hawksmoor’s spire or project your company name on the building’s side?

Impress your guests in the Jerwood Hall, the main part of the building, with its original stonework and the magnificent east window that together create an unforgettable atmosphere for your event.

Or, if you’re after something a little more intimate, the Clore Rooms make for ideal breakout spaces, as does the Café located within the reconstructed crypt, accommodating up to 150 guests.
