Top Three Wintery Pubs

As the evenings draw in and we sing carols about chestnuts roasting on open fires, pubs replace al fresco dining. There’s nothing like warm interiors and craft beers to bring friends together. Hiring a private space will give your event a both traditional and informal atmosphere. This is the perfect spot to host a wedding drinks reception or to throw a birthday party.

Pubs, designed to host social gatherings, provide great spaces for live music. You will often find food and drinks can be included in the cost of room hire, helping you to stick to that all-important budget.

We have a range of exclusive pub spaces for hire across London, suiting a wide range of occasions, sizes and cost.

Peckham Springs is has a classy festival atmosphere. This unique venue is positioned under two railway arches. It’s tented outdoor space is draped in elegant fairy lights, guarded by toasty outdoor heaters. Peep inside and you won’t be able to miss the impressive large cocktail bar. The venue can be rented in its entirety, or the exterior can be rented as a whole.

The venue is only a minute’s walk away from Peckham Rye Station and can hold a maximum of 300 guests standing. If you wanted to host something a little more special, let’s say a cabaret or theatre show, the space can hold 80 people seated.

The Elgin, Notting Hill, has slightly less edge to it than Peckham Springs. But what it lacks in quirkiness, it makes up for in class. Its real wood fire places and seasonal British menu always draw a crowd. The bar serves up everything from specialist gins to craft ales. Upstairs you can find private club rooms available to hire for more intimate affairs. The venue can host 70 in a seated dinner and a maximum of 400 guests at a standing event.
