Here in London, we’re incredibly lucky to have access to some truly amazing events spaces. Whether you’re looking for small, intimate rooms for a meeting, vast, cavernous spaces for conferences…
Nekebah Cohen is an Event Assistant here at Venueseeker. We caught up with her to find out more about her events industry experience.
Why did you decide to get into events?
I have been obsessed with musical theatre, dance, production and set design from a young age, and I cannot function without writing lists and have always been an organised person. My dance school gave me the opportunity to design and choreographer children’s themed dance parties, so I got to combine my love of musical theatre and event design. I knew events was the industry for me.
Tell us about your favourite venue in London
I love Altitude London, especially their Altitude 360 room! The venue is an exceptional blank canvas, providing a dramatic backdrop for events and is perfect for any high end events, My favourite space within the venue is The Skyloft which was created to celebrate the London Olympics with a reclaimed wooden floor from a school gymnasium. The venue has been exquisitely designed and provides a truly inspiring warehouse space in the sky and replicates a unique warehouse New York style loft event space.
What would you take to a desert island and why?
I would bring my best friend with me so I have someone to sunbathe with.
