London has a reputation for being the number one place to throw an event. There is good reason for this as its travel network can make it more accessible than any…
Senior Account Executive
Amy Deal is our Senior Account Executive here at Venueseeker. We caught up with her to find out more about her events industry experience.
Why did you decide to get into events?
I love exploring new restaurants and places to go at the weekend and also love people and organising so thought Events would be a great route for me. I loved the idea of taking something from an initial idea into a physical event that people can enjoy.
Tell us about your favourite venue in London
St Pancras Renaissance – as soon as you walk into this hotel, you feel special. Hanson Hall is full of character, with high ceilings and beautiful brick and metal work, perfect for a Christmas party. Not to mention the adjoining secret garden, which heightens the excitement and exclusivity around the space. The venue attached to St Pancras train station feels magical all year round, whether you are having a coffee in the open plan reception surrounded by seasonal flowers, or enjoying a gin and tonic in the Booking Office.
What would you take to a desert island and why?
I would tragically take my toy lamb, Mint Sauce, to act as my Castaway Wilson! For familiarity of home and something to talk to rather than myself if I was alone!
