Savage Beauty at the Victoria & Albert Museum

On Friday, the long awaited ‘Savage Beauty’ exhibition opened at the V&A. This is the first and largest retrospective displaying the works of the late Alexander McQueen, and is a reworking of the original 2011 exhibition displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York

Spanning McQueen’s career, from his 1992 MA graduate collection right through to his final S/S 2010 Plato’s Atlantis collection, the collection will be displayed with all the drama and spectacle that characterised his famous runway shows.

Certain to be one of the most popular exhibitions of 2015, the V&A have already released an extra 50,000 tickets and extended the finish date to 2nd August. To beat the queues, why not host your next event in one of the museum’s beautiful event spaces and treat your guests to a private viewing.
