This new restaurant is part of the Battersea Power Station Redevelopment, opening in August in South London. The restaurant, which is from the group behind No 197 Chiswick Fire Station, will be open all day from breakfast through to dinner and late night partying.
An age-old drinking tavern gets a modern makeover at The Wigmore. This luxurious central London pub has a drinks list put together by the Artesian team, from the nearby five-star Langham hotel, and a menu overseen by two-star Michelin chef Michel Roux Jr.

After the success of Temper Soho, the city branch opens on 24th July. This is a unique BBQ and open fire pit restaurant with a huge New World wine list and cocktail bar. The team uses just the best produce available, with locally sourced produce and Cornish fish and seafood.

Magpie is a departure from Pidgin – at this new restaurant diners choose plates straight from a trolley. It’s a British interpretation of traditional dim sum restaurants. There’s a trolley of cocktails to choose from, alongside small plates of mackerel crudo with fennel pollen, and hot dishes such as grilled celeriac with a watermelon barbecue sauce.

Irene Margariti and Yannis Theodorakakos are opening this new East London restaurant, the next outpost of their Suvlaki Greek restaurant brand. The new site in Brick Lane, Shoreditch, is set to open late this month. Occupying a 45-cover site on Brick Lane, Suvlaki’s interiors have been designed by Afroditi Krassa. Drawing on the inspiration and architecture of modern Athens with a hint of neoclassicism, the restaurant has a textured, pared back aesthetic with warm, earthy tones of blue and a grey marble shopfront.

Chef Clare Smyth has revealed plans to open her first restaurant Core by Clare Smyth in Notting Hill in July. The former Head Chef at the flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, will open the 54-cover fine dining restaurant on Kensington Park Road. The restaurant will feature an open kitchen and an 18-cover cocktail bar. We think this will be a great spot for drinks receptions and parties!
There’s nothing not to like about the second brand of this Hawaiian poké restaurant. Serving sushi-topped raw bowls, the restaurant is bang on-trend and their sourcing and packaging are also environmentally responsible. Lunch is sorted.
A brand new Mediterranean and Levantine small-plates restaurant on Broadway Market. Tuyo is a light, canalside space, with kitchen highlights from the open kitchen including harissa-crusted lamb rump with pisto and black olive couscous and burnished chicken thigh with honey-poached apricots, pistachios and sumac yoghurt.
This is the place to go for serious fine dining. A Fulham newcomer, Rigo is a new restaurant by Michelin-feted chef Gonzalo Luzarraga. Enjoy traditional haute cuisine with his six-course signature tasting menu. Dishes include sea urchin with bagna cauda, quail egg and fermented milk, and monkfish with capers, courgette and cucumber.
The restaurant scene in Clapham is going from strength to strength. Head to this new all-day neighbourhood restaurant for food from Chef Jake Boyce, formerly of Jason Atherton’s Social Wine and Tapas. Modern European dishes have flavours from the Indian Ocean: think baby octopus with curry-leaf paste and charred green mango.

You might recognise Tom’s name from MasterChef: The Professionals – he was a runner-up on the show. Now his CV includes Plum + Spilt Milk and Tom’s Kitchen. Tom’s new restaurant will be serving dishes inspired by his Welsh heritage.
