Parkstead House

Parkstead House is located just five miles away from Central London, making it a convenient location for dinner and conference parties. It’s also located adjacent to Richmond Park, giving it a completely different vibe to the urban city districts of central London. This gives the house a “retreat” feel for those that want a break from metro life. The facility includes 200 private bedrooms, making it the ideal location for multi-day events where guests can lodge for the night.

Nearby attractions like the Royal Botanic Gardens and Wetland Centre provide additional incentives for guests who wish to do a little sightseeing before or after your event.

Syon House

If lavish is what you’re looking for in a venue, then the Syon House is your best bet. The house sits at the centre of a 50 acre park and has been the venue for countless parties held for the Dukes and Duchesses of Northumberland over the centuries. The surroundings give the house a countryside feel even though the property is located just 10 miles away from the bustle of Central London. Even better for guests travelling in to London, the house is also just a 30 minute drive from Heathrow Airport.

Events can be held inside the house, outside, or in the Conservatory, a separate building within the property. The main house includes multiple areas divided into the three categories:

  • State Apartments – includes a spacious grand hall with Greco-Roman-era inspired architecture.
  • Private Apartments – includes the dining room and drawing room. Lavish royalty-like dinners and social hours can be hosted in this section.
  • Northumberland Suite – This includes a lounge-like room with a fireplace and access to the property’s private garden.

Kew-Nash Conservatory

The Nash Conservatory is perfect for daytime events. As the facility is made almost entirely from glass, it’s almost like hosting an event outdoors while remaining indoors. Even if the facility fills to its 200 capacity limit, additional guests can still sit outside without missing out on what’s taking place inside.

The structure was originally built adjacent to Buckingham Palace in the early 1800s but was later moved piece by piece to Kew in 1836, where it stands today as the oldest glasshouse of Kew Gardens.

Party venues in South West London provide some of the most exuberant locations for hosting events where guests can be expected to receive the royal treatment. If this is what you’re aiming for, then don’t settle for a generic location that lacks name recognition.
