You’ve recently joined the Venueseeker team. What is it about Venueseeker and Concerto Group you are most excited about?
Three weeks in and I am already excited about what lies ahead of me with Venueseeker. The team at Concerto Group are so friendly and have a joint passion to deliver the best events.
Venueseeker has been running since 2012 and has consistently developed and improved. I’m pleased to be in the driving seat and happy to be making sure we’re always one step ahead and can suggest venues our clients would never have discovered before.
The monthly ‘Venueseeker Visits’ breakfast events are hugely popular. What are your plans for the next few months?
The breakfast mornings are a brilliant way to engage with current accounts and potential prospects. We are so pleased that our catering partner, Create Food and Party Design can deliver a mouth-watering breakfast buffet in some of London’s most exciting venues – we get rave reviews for their blueberry muffins and homemade granola. Create delivers innovative, delicious and beautifully presented food, bespoke to every client’s requirements. Find out more about Create here.
With so many venues at our fingertips, we are able to host Venueseeker Visits events at new and exciting venues every month. Last month we were ecstatic to welcome guests to the V&A for a private viewing of the sell-out Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition. Next month we will be hosting the breakfast at the Saatchi Gallery and we have some exciting ideas for the following few months; watch this space!
Exciting changes are underway at Venueseeker. Can you give us a sneak peek?
We’re working hard to ensure Venueseeker consistently offers the very best of London venues, to ensure we’re always the go to guide for event spaces. So we’re always out visiting the hottest new openings and hidden gems to bring our clients something special. We’ve seen a handful of very exciting new space over the past few weeks, which will be going up on our website soon, so stay tuned.
What do you like most about working in the events industry?
I’ve been in the industry for two years and have already learnt a lot and met so many amazing people. I love to live life in the fast lane and working in events certainly makes you! No day or event is ever the same, so it could never get old.
Plus current industry trends and technical advances are enabling us to deliver show-stopping events that are always different from the last. The events industry is full of talented, creative people so it’s a great network of friends and colleagues.
